When I was working at an angel club, one of the biggest challenges was finding new wealthy members. But I kept thinking—what if, instead of competing for the same pool of investors as everyone else, we focused on building a community of talented people with promising careers? That’s how Studio 23 was born.
They might not be super rich now, but over time, they’ll earn more, build trust in Studio 23, learn what it truly means to be a VC investor with us, and hopefully start writing bigger checks than $1K. It’s a long-term play to tap into future potential while also solving my own problem—finding interesting, like-minded people to connect with.

Most closed VC angel clubs require a $10K+ minimum buy-in per deal. Since investing in just one startup is highly risky, you’d typically need significant capital to diversify across multiple investments. Without it, you won’t be allowed to join.
Studio 23 collaborates with (or is a member of) angel groups, VC funds, and brokers who share deals with their communities. If a deal looks promising, we bring it to our club. Here’s how it work:
- Deal Announcement – We post a deal in the club, providing all relevant information and answering any questions.
- Soft Commitment – If you're interested, indicate your intent to invest (starting from $1K) and wait for others to join.
- Meeting the Minimum – The deal will only proceed if it reaches the required minimum investment amount (e.g., $10K) set by the sourcing VC club.
- KYC & Fund Transfer – Once the minimum is met, you complete the KYC process, transfer your investment, and we form an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle).
- Final Investment – Our SPV then joins the sourcing VC club’s SPV, securing our place in the deal.
Startups can grow or fail. Big returns aren’t guaranteed—only invest what you’re willing to risk. Stick to solid portfolio principles and diversify to manage risk.
